We offer cat's the routine they are accustomed to. They are securely kept in their suites (not cages) with ample room to stretch, romp, climb and hide away. Windows allow kitty to be drenched in sunlight and view the outside world and neighboring suites. Our large glass doors allow them to look into the rooms and hallways. Check out our online and Facebook reviews. You'll find our clients were thrilled to be able to watch their kitties on the live kitty cams (Serengeti Suites and Bora Bora Penthouse only at this time). Most kitties didn't even want to leave their suites when Mom and Dad came to pick them up! Cat’s are seen in the AM for feeding and PM for 15 minutes each time. Additional out of suite time is offered for an additional fee. Please call to see if this is available during your cat’s stay.

  • Cat's Meow Resort requires all of our feline guests to have the following vaccinations:

    • Rabies (1 or 3 year vaccine)

    • FVRCP (1 or 3year vaccine- commonly called the distemper vaccine)

All vaccines should be given at least one to two weeks prior to boarding as this gives the antibodies ample time to establish protection against contagious diseases.

Exemptions: Certain vaccination exemptions will be accepted from your veterinarian if they determined the health of your cat is jeopardized from vaccinations.

Kittens: 4 months and older must have completed their full series of vaccinations, including rabies, before being allowed to stay at Cat's Meow Resort.

  • Unfortunately, we do not accept cat's who are infested with fleas. Our reputation and livelihood is built on providing our clients with a clean, comfortable and sanitary environment. We take measures to ensure our other clients do not become infected. If you have any suspicion your cat has fleas, please do not bring them into our facility. If we find fleas, your cat will be immediately treated and given a bath and we will charge $30 for the Capstar treatment and $100 for the bath. We do not want to put our lodging kitties at risk to getting fleas and being uncomfortable.

  • Before you Check-in at Cat’s Meow Resort, we ask that you give us the name and contact information of your personal veterinarian and someone who can make decisions regarding veterinary care for your cat during your absence. Be advised, accidents or incidents can occur while you're away. We do everything in our power to avoid these, but if a medical problem occurs with your cat, we'll first attempt to contact you and get your cat in to see the vet listed on record as long as it is within close proximity. If unavailable or if the situation is critical, we'll take your cat to a nearby veterinarian or to the nearest emergency clinic. All charges for veterinary care & transportation will be your responsibility as outlined in the Client Agreement.

  • Medications will be provided by the cat owner in the original container, appropriately labeled with the veterinary information and directions (no expired medications will be accepted without veterinarian approval). Dosages will not be changed from the veterinary instructions without written approval from the prescribing veterinary doctor/veterinary office.

There is a $5.00 administration fee for all medications prescribed by a veterinary doctor; i.e., pills, gels, trans-dermal gels, suspensions, injections, etc. This fee is per medication per administration. At this time, we are not accepting diabetic cats who should be under the supervision of a vet.

  • We want your cat to feel comfortable & secure while staying with us, therefore you may supply your cat’s personal small bedding (no oversized beds or comforters, please). Any bedding item or toy that becomes too damaged or that we believe may pose a hazard to your cat may be removed at the sole discretion of our cat care staff. You may also supply cat toys or comfort items to enjoy. The items must be washable, be suited to your cat’s size & may not pose an obvious choking hazard. Also bring your cat's carrier, in case of an emergency.

Please be sure to upload his photo to the kitty profile. We will provide a luggage tag and it’s always a good idea to have a photo of your kitty on the tag.

  • We do not supply food unless you have forgotten your cat’s food from home. Cats are very sensitive creatures and they do not do well with change to their diet. A sudden change in diet can result in diarrhea, vomiting or your cat not eating at all. If you are bringing dry food, we would love it if you could pre-portion it in a plastic sealed, labeled by day and time (AM or PM) sandwich bags.

Room service is delivered each morning & during the late afternoon/early evening hours. Food is discarded & refreshed daily unless you instruct otherwise. If your cat is accustomed to a mid-day meal, we have an option to serve a third meal around noon for an additional $5.00 per day, per cat.

We also encourage you to use the same food, litter and water if you plan on bringing with you. Most cats do fine with our filtered water, bowls and litter and litterboxes.

You may bring an automatic feeder or water fountain. We have water fountains for rent on a first-come, first-serve basis for $25.

We provide bowls, water, litter and litterboxes. If your cat is very picky about litter, please bring your own litter.

  • Cats are given out of suite playtime on a rotation basis twice a day. Additional play time can be purchased and is based on availability.

Grooming

  • Our facility is by appointment only. Grooms are done on Tuesday's and Saturday's. Our limited grooming hours allow our feline guests to relax. Drop offs are at 9 and pick up at 2 latest for grooms. Upon check-in, we will give you an estimated time your kitty will be ready for pickup. If this changes, we will contact you. Our experience is that cat's are much more relaxed when they can't sense their owner's presence. The first 2 appointments must be pre-paid.

We are currently operating on a membership only groom program due to the demand for our services and commitment to keep our ongoing clients in the best shape possible (clean and mat-free with trimmed nails). If you are interested, please let us know. We will not be accepting clients who are one-time grooming clients. The price listed on our website is for our monthly membership clients. For those who fall off the membership maintenance schedule, we will allow you to return based on an overall evaluation (and it may take a few weeks or months to find a slot for you) and the initial price will be at a higher non- member rate. Clients choosing to stay on a schedule over 8 weeks will be treated as a new client and will be subject to a consultation groom upon returning.
